2015

In 2015, I finally got a lot of things right.  Most of it was grown from seed indoors, although I did try to winter sow, but that didn't work very well.  It was a beautiful year in my yard.  I spent most mornings in the summer, outside with my camera, taking pictures of butterflies and sunflowers and birds.  My granddaughter called the veggie garden, "Gigi's Secret Garden."  We filled the front of the veggie garden (closest to the street) with sunflowers.  When the sunflowers bloomed, people pulled in to the driveway to ask if they could take pictures.  (I even gave some of them the tour.)

2015 was my favorite garden so far in life.  It truly was magical.
